I utilize a facilitative approach in most mediations but can also utilize evaluative tools if the parties are open to that. I also like to utilize tools that step away from the typical distributive bargaining approach if the parties reach impasse or are frustrated by the movements being made.
I typically ask that briefs be no more than 15 pages, excluding exhibits. I ask that they be emailed to me one week in advance of the mediation date to allow me to hold pre-mediation calls with counsel.
Rate Per Hour: $1,000.00
Rate Per Half Day: $5,000.00
Rate Per Day: $9,500.00
I would charge a reduced rate of $800 per hour in connection with panel mediations.
I am open to mediating at the offices of counsel for plaintiff or defendant if the parties agree upon a location.
