Arbitration Approach:
My mediation approach is generally a flexible combination of facilitative and evaluative measures, depending on the parties and the nature of the dispute. Participants appreciate my tenacity, empathetic and diplomatic nature, and creative solutions.
Briefs & Other:
Parties should submit their mediation briefs at least one week before the mediation date. Briefs should be candid and include, at a minimum, descriptions of key evidence (including key deposition excerpts), and prior settlement negotiations. The parties' counsel are also encouraged to circulate a draft long-form agreement in advance so that the parties may begin thinking about potential settlement terms and the ultimate form of a final agreement.

I also prefer to meet in advance at least once with each party for a pre-mediation conference.
Fee Information:

Rate Per Hour: $660

Rate Per Half Day: $4000

Rate Per Day: $6600

For court-ordered mediations, I offer a reduced hourly rate of $600 per hour divided evenly among the parties, and will also consider sliding-scale rates on a case-by-case basis.
Locations:
I am very comfortable with virtual mediation (and able to educate parties in how to use it) and am able to serve as a virtual mediator (in fact, I usually prefer it). I am also willing to appear for in-person mediations (when permitted by Covid-19 regulations).
