Each case is so different, I try to adapt to the situation. Generally, I think it is
important to meet with each party and their attorneys separately. I appreciate
hearing from the parties directly. I then conduct "shuttle diplomacy" between the
parties. I prefer to opt to speak to and in front of the parties rather than taking
attorneys aside, if possible and practical, as sometimes inexperienced parties are
wary of the process. I also prefer to have an agreement completely executed if an
agreement is reached.
