Arbitration Approach:

I can easily switch back and forth from evaluative to facilitative as needed. Often times I begin the day facilitative and will get more evaluative if settlement is eluding the parties. In workplace mediations, I tend to use the training I learned with Gary Friedman in resolving conflict and staying almost exclusively in joint session and remaining in facilitative mode all day)

Briefs & Other:

A thorough brief of the law; settlement attempts up to this point, and obstacles to resolving the matter at mediation are good to know. I do ask if something like potential bankruptcy stands in the way of settlement or limits settlement, that this is communicated prior to mediation so that if the other side wants to see financial records, etc. that can be provided.

Locations:

Available for all above-listed regions except Blythe. Available for Zoom mediation for that area if applicable. Please note that my practice has evolved from focusing on litigation and trial into preventative practices, coaching, mediation (I do a lot of workplace mediations in addition to court mediations), and training. Prior to, I was much more regularly engaged in these areas. I also spent four years as a public defender where I regularly tried jury cases and countless court trials in the juvenile division.
