My ADR style is facilitive, based upon a belief that the purpose of mediation is to assist the parties to find a resolution of their respective needs.  My litigation background enables me to be an evaluative mediator when the parties or circumstances so indicate.  I believe a balanced approach to the negotiation process is necessary, to understand the needs and interests of all sides before a mediation may be successfully concluded by a settlement agreement.

Short briefs outlining the facts and issues, with information on the status on the settlement negotiations, are appreciated.  It is usually not necessary to brief the applicable law.
