Mr. Watts earned the Master of Laws in Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine University School of Law, Straus Institute (2008) both preceded and followed by many hundreds of hours additional training in mediation and arbitration . Mr Watts lectures widely on matters relevant to dispute resolution. He is an adjunct professor of law on the faculty at the University of Laverne Law School teaching the ADR arts.

Mr. Watts plans a unique approach to resolution based on the conflict and the parties to that conflict. In the case of dissimilar styles disparate views, Mr. Watts carefully navigates those differences in order to arrive at an agreeable framework . Mr. Watts assists the parties in negotiating competently, effectively and objectively.
(1) Mr. Watts would prefer that the parties suspend discovery/motions until after mediation process is completed; (2) Briefs are encouraged (either confidential or served) several days before session; (3) All parties are expected to attend in person; and (4) Parties are encouraged to call in advance with general questions about mediation or other resolution processes.

My Hourly Rate is: $400. To be divided equally amongst the parties. Five hour minimum. Reduced rates or pro bono service considered in appropriate cases. Payments and deposits are due in advance absent other arrangements.
