I have successfully mediated numerous cases for the Riverside County Bar Association Dispute Resolution Service(DRS)(since 2001). I have been called on by the Riverside County Court to serve as a mediator since 2001, and have been retained by several attorneys to privately mediate their disputes. I have also been called upon to serve as a mediator at the Trial Assignment Calendar in Department 1 of the Riverside County Superior Court, and have been doing so 1-2 times a month for the past 3-4 years. I have served as a mediator for litigated cases over 200 times, and within the past two years 75 times. I have participated in and observed over 300 mediations. In addition to the matters in which I have served as a mediator, I have also particated in 100+ mediations with my clients. Mediated cases include: real property, dog bites, auto accidents, premise liability, business and partnership disputes, financial elder abuse, trust/estate disputes, and lemon law/consumer litigation.
I have served as a temporary settlement conference Judge for the Riverside County Superior Court. I have participated in numerous settlement conferences as counsel for my clients.

Arbitration Approach:
Depends on the particular needs of the case - could be facilitative, sometimes more evaluative. I always let participants know I care about them and the matter at hand. I am a very people oriented person and conduct the mediations accordingly.
Briefs & Other:
I typically ask for a mediation statement with outline of the facts, substantive legal issues, and parties view of settlement, three to five days in advance of the mediation.
Fee Information:
$300 per hour
4 hour retainer split equally by the parties.
Value Mediation Participant.

Western Region(Riverside, Corona, Moreno Valley); Mid-County Region(Southwest, Temecula, Hemet); at the office of the mediator; at the facilities of one of the parties' counsel or other appropriate facilities.
